As I said, there are a few different ways to monetize your content, so it’s hard to say exactly how much you can earn, but many Pornhub creators earn the bulk of their income through ad revenue.

Your ad revenue earnings vary depending on things like:

• How many views you get
• How many of those viewers click an ad
• Which country those viewers come from

And a few other factors. We can look at the average ad revenue as a way to get a rough estimation of your earning potential.

The average RPM (ad revenue per 1000 views) was $0.69 in 2017, and has been rising year on year.

Based on this figure, if your videos were to get a combined total of 10 million views in a month, you’d earn around $6,900 from ad revenue.

I know what you’re thinking – that seems like a lot.

However, the good news is that Pornhub is a less saturated platform than YouTube, so it should be a lot easier to get those views in the first place. I’ll be giving you some tips on how to get those views later on.

This is the most common way to make money on Pornhub. All you have to do is upload your videos to the platform and allow them to be viewed for free. You’ll then earn a share of the ad revenue that your video generates.

The ad revenue share you get depends on your videos performance. This means both views and ratings. The more views, and the higher the rating, the more money you’ll earn.

2. Sell Adult Videos on OnlyFans or ModelHub

Once you’re verified on Pornhub, you can sign up to their sister site Modelhub and sell your videos on there for cash. Every time someone purchases your video, you’ll earn 65% of the sale price. If you’re not getting any sales, you can list them on Modelhub for free and earn ad revenue just as you would with free-to-view Pornhub videos.

How to Join the Amateur Program

All of the methods we’ve talked about so far are only open to those verified on the Pornhub Amateur/Model Payment program.

To sign up for the Amateur program, you’ll need to:

1. Sign up for a free Pornhub account
2. Submit a photo of yourself holding up a sign to verify your identity
3. Wait for Pornhub admins to verify your request

There are a couple of other ways to make money on Pornhub worth mentioning. Here they are…

1. Use Your Videos to Promote on Adult Networks

A good way to make money through Pornhub outside of their Model Payment program is to use the videos you upload as a way to drive traffic to your own affiliates. Affiliates are like referral links. They’re unique URLs that take people to a paid sign up page. If the viewer signs up to one of your affiliates through your link, you get paid a cut.

You can generate affiliate sales through Pornhub like this:

1. First, make an account on an adult affiliate network and find some suitable offers to promote
2. Next, purchase your own domain (website)
3. Then, redirect your domain to your affiliate offer
4. Finally, upload videos on Pornhub and add a watermark to them with your domain name/website URL.

Hopefully, if your videos get a lot of views, some of the viewers who want to see more will visit the domain listed on your video. When they do, they’ll be redirected to your affiliate sign up page. Statistically, some of them will end up signing up to those affiliates, which will earn you money!
